Meghan, Pongo + Trigger Horse and Rider Session in Stomping Ground Kentucky at Brighton Wells Farm | Kentucky Equine Portrait Photographer Rebecca Beatty
Flashback Friday has a second post of the day that also took place back in May of 2019!! This time I got to me Meghan and her two horses Pongo and Trigger! Between the laughter and the special moments, this session just had to be blogged!
Meghan reminded me so much of myself when I first met her. A horse loving girl, who wanted to make her life revolve around everything and anything to do with horses. So when I had scheduled a session with Aly and her two horses, I was so happy that Meghan offered to model with her horses too.
To start off Meghan’s session we first worked with her quarter horse Trigger. Talk about a pretty boy! I mean heart eye emojis for DAAAAYS! But, Pongo had him beat. This little spotted pony had beat cancer, but was also blind. So with hearing his story, I fell in love with him.
Plus! The bond that Meghan and Pongo had was too cute! This was her pony! She told me that the bond these two had was so unique and she always felt that if she needed someone to talk to, he would stand there and really listen. And the fact that she can ride him bareback with her arms in the air, truely makes this pair look like they’re flying!
